Here is checklist to help you shop online safe
and hassle free. Tips to make your next purchase easier.
* Determine what you intend to purchase online Whether it be a camera, software or accessories to complete your system. Note that the person on the other end does not have time to discuss the merits of your purchase.
* Write down the brand, model, and price while you surf different websites. If possible check seller ratings online to see how reliable your possible future supplier is. Listen to other people and dont make the mistake just because they offer the best price.
* Consider whether you are ready to accept an alternate item if one or more of items purchased are out of stock.
* Confirm that price and specifications of item purchased is the same at the one you saw in the ad. Check model brand and possible model number to be sure.
* Check Total Cost before you pay. your bill can be over budget if you consider shipping to the Philippines, paying custom duties and other handling fees.
* Request name of Person or keep a screen capture of your transaction for reference and protection. If anything goes wrong you know who to look for or have proof on hand.
* Check Warranty. Not all items carry an international warranty. Usual warranties are covered only at the country of purchase. In some cases you will be asked to ship equipment back to your dealer for repairs.

* Check if online store has a refund policy or return policy. It may come in handy especially if you are not satisfied with the product.

* Sometimes they dont put a price on items but "call for price" or "click for price" In cases like these make sure you are getting the complete package and not just parts of the whole package. Some shops are known to sell you cameras cheap but remove batteries or chargers and charge you higher complete the kit.
*If problem occurs, call or email the person you placed your order with. You can usually ask for manager or look for owner and in most cases they are willing and eager to make your online shopping experience a pleasant one.
